Programme options

FULL ACADEMIC YEAR (OR LONGER)

With sustained access to exceptional teaching, your child can develop their academic strengths while discovering new interests that may shape their future. Fully immersed in the boarding community, they build confidence, independence and lasting friendships, while developing a high level of English fluency.

Whether returning to their home school after their time in the UK, continuing their education through to graduation or spending a year in the UK before university, they gain an enriching experience that can have a lasting impact on their academic and personal development.

2-4 WEEK INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

Your child enjoys a vibrant, experience-rich summer alongside like-minded international students. Through dynamic language lessons and engaging activities, their confidence in English develops naturally.

Excursions to iconic locations and a wide range of sports create a memorable introduction to British culture and school life.

SHORT STAY PROGRAMMES

A flexible way to experience British boarding school life, from one or two weeks to one or two terms. Your child becomes part of the school community, building confidence in English while experiencing the academic, social and pastoral life of a British boarding school.

With a shorter time commitment, these programmes can offer a reassuring first step, allowing your child to experience the environment before deciding whether to progress further. They can also provide an enriching experience in their own right, whether your child is looking to develop their English, gain an international perspective or simply get a flavour of life in the UK.

Frequently asked questions

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE GETTING STARTED

How long does the application process take?

In most cases, I recommend getting in touch 6–12 months in advance to allow time for school selection and visa arrangements. In certain cases, the process can be completed in as little as 4 months with fast-tracking options.

My services are complimentary. I work in partnership with a small number of carefully selected schools, allowing me to offer expert, personalised guidance to families at no cost.

Boarding schools offer a fully immersive experience, including accommodation, meals, and full pastoral care. Your child benefits from excellent academic teaching, outstanding facilities, and a structured, supportive environment.

No, this is not an exchange programme. Your child joins a UK boarding school independently, and fees are paid directly to the school.

Not for summer or immersion programmes. For longer placements, your child will typically complete a maths and English assessment, along with a short video interview to assess their English-speaking ability.

Requirements vary depending on your child’s age and chosen programme. All schools I work with provide appropriate English language support, ensuring your child is well supported as their confidence and fluency develop.

In the unlikely event that a visa is not granted, I will guide you through the next steps, including reapplying if appropriate. If needed, the school placement can be deferred.

For longer-term placements, a UK guardian may be required depending on the child’s visa and the school’s requirements, unless a parent or eligible close relative is based in the UK. A guardian provides emergency support and can arrange or provide care during school holidays and other periods when your child is not at school. Schools can often recommend trusted guardianship providers, and I can advise families on the arrangements required for their child’s particular placement.
